I am the happiest and most thankful when I listen to the word of life at a church where God is present with us.
I have lived in faith since my childhood, but nobody has given me answers to a few biblical verses I have been curious about for a long time. One day in 2003, a friend of my mother's gave her a few audio tapes of Rev. Dr. Lee's preaching and my mother was greatly moved by them because she had been thirsty for the truth. My mother and father registered at Manmin Joong-ang Church in August that year and I registered in November.
Each service time I was happy with life-filled messages preached. That was because Rev. Dr. Lee solved my long-term questions as if he had read my heart. And when I witnessed God's powerful works such as the blind coming to see, the deaf to hear and the mute to speak, I, as a medical doctor-to-be, felt every kind of mental framework of my consciousness and all knowledge I had acquired, broken into pieces. But, I sang praises to God the Almighty confessing those who are stricken with incurable diseases can be cured by the power of God alone.
At first I was worried about my scheduling of my prayer time and study time because I was a medical student. I needed much more time than most students majoring in other subjects. However, I believed God would give me strength and ability to do pray and study, and even attended Daniel Night Prayer Meeting every night.
As I was taught through the sermon audio tapes about "Secret of Successful Study," I always prayed to God for 10 or 20 minutes and read the Bible before I started studying. God enabled me to concentrate on my studies and blessed me with good points at exams.
In October 2004, I received the prayer from Rev. Dr. Lee for the National Health Personnel Licensing Examination that I would have to sit through 100 days later. He prayed, "Let him gain good points at that examination and pass it." Thanks to his prayer, my heart was comfortable in preparing for the exam and I passed it with a good grade point. Still more, I passed the exam for internship at Yongdong Severance Hospital.
I hope to spread the powerful works accomplished exclusively by God the Creator to the whole medical world and repay His grace.
