Senior Deaconess Hwasook Kim (63, Parish 18 in Manmin Central Church)


I had run a restaurant about 20 years, which caused me to have backpain and a hard time. I always had pain and stiffness in the back and legs.
On December 18, 2023, I went to a doctor for a regular checkup and the doctor told me that the 4th nerve in the spine was seriously compressed. He recommended surgery. But I wanted to be healed by faith. I attended a 21-day Vowed Daniel Prayer Meeting on March 11 and earnestly prayed for spiritual change and healing along with morning fasting prayer.
On March 23, Women’s Mission Leadership Conference was held. It was beyond my condition. I couldn’t attend it in common sense, but I could barely attend with others’ aid.
Speaker Pastor Soojin Lee delivered an impressive message that seemed to reflect my previous days and my mind. Afterwards she prayed for all in attendance, and I felt as if electricity flashed through my body from head to toe. My body felt like flying in the air.
The pain and discomfort in the back and legs was gone and I was able to walk freely. I returned home comfortably. I participated in decorating Easter eggs and fruits to share them with those around us in commemoration of Easter and happiness and joy overflowed deep within my heart.
On March 29, I attended a Divine Healing Meeting with great emotion, and my heart was already moved at the preparatory praises. Speaker Pastor Soojin Lee gave a touching message and fervently prayed for the sick. By her prayer my slightest pain was completely gone.
Next morning, I joined Easter-eggs sharing campaign, and we shared them with many neighbors. I had no pain on the back and legs at all until I came back home. I give all thanks and glory to Father God who gives His beloved children a healthy and happy life.
