Senior Deaconess Youngok Yoon (65, Parish 14 in Manmin Central Church)


In July 2022, I fell and injured my leg while walking down the street. Since then, I had difficulty walking properly. A couple of days later I fell down once again and had the cartilage in the leg ruptured. The doctor said I had to take a stem cell injection for cartilage regeneration and have a bowleg surgery as well.

As I was born with the bowlegs, my legs gradually became bent and I shifted my weight to one side, thereby resulting in the difficulty of recovery. Therefore, I received the bowleg surgery. However, even after surgery, aftereffects occurred and I had difficulty standing for long or walking due to the pain.

One year later, on July 27 of 2023, I had surgery to remove the irons embedded in my leg and was discharged on July 29. However, the surgery parts began to burn and swell, and the fever continued. I tried to calm it down with an ice pack, but it was no use.

I wanted to be healed by God and determined to attend the summer retreat that would be held on July 31, the next week. I went to the hospital for the accurate examination. The examination showed the surgery parts were filled with water and it might develop inflammation, so the doctor told me to be careful. After that I went to the retreat venue.

In the first evening of the event, I attended the Seminar and Divine Healing Meeting, and God’s great grace came upon me.

Listening to Acting Senior Paster Soojin Lee’s message, I repented of having not fulfilled my God-given duties and not prayed diligently. When she prayed for the sick from the podium, I received her prayer by faith and the holy fire of the Spirit came over me. I felt warm on my whole body. And I approached the front and received the prayer of handkerchief (Acts 19:11-12) from Mrs. Boknim Lee, President of Manmin Prayer Center. After that, both the pain in the leg and tinnitus were completely gone!

I was convinced that God had healed me and after the retreat I went to the hospital on August 3 for the accurate checkup. The result showed that tinnitus and the aftereffects of the bowleg surgery were completely healed. Hallelujah!

I give all thanks and glory to our good Father God who healed and blessed me with His unfailing love.
