Born and raised in a Catholic family, I would want to know more about God and was curious about many parts of the Bible. I would pray to have true faith, but my spirit just thirsted more and more with no satisfaction. I became drawn to Christianity. In 2012, I finally heard about Manmin Central Church and Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee from Janet Duvre, my coworker.

The essence of faith dawned on me while I was reading Dr. Lee's books such as The Message of the Cross, Heaven I & II, and Hell. I joined Manmin's Sunday Morning Service via live streaming. Though I had to wake up no later than three thirty A.M., I didn't find it difficult to do and join in the services. Later I also attended Friday All-night Services too. I was touched by Dr. Lee's sermons perfectly grounded on the Bible. My husband, who was abroad as well as my children also joined.

In February 2014, we registered online as Manmin members. Meantime, I heard a meeting would be held in Hainaut Manmin Church (Presiding Pastor: Missionary Christina Roh) in Belgium. It was to be led by Rev. Heesun Lee of Manmin Central Church.

It was what we had longed for! On May 24, my family and I went to the church and wanted our prayer to be answered, which was the healing of my son's disease.

My son, Phil Vovo, had suffered for 15 years, since the age of eight, from a type of atopic dermatitis. A few spots appeared on some parts of his body at first, but they were spread to his whole body as he grew. When it was severe, he was unable to eat, walk, sleep, and study.

Doctors managed to reach the conclusion that it was caused by an allergy and there was no specific treatment. The only thing they did for him was giving him cortisone shots to reduce his pain. It would be bad for his skin and bones in the long run but there was no alternative.

Rev. Heesun Lee, Manmin World Guidance Pastor, preached about 'faith' in the meeting. My son was blessed to make up his mind to be healed by faith. He received handkerchief prayer from Rev. Lee (Acts 19:11-12) and stopped taking all medicines immediately. That night he was in great pain since inflammation developed all over his whole body and face. He felt like he was burning. He was suffering greatly.

Yet he overcame it, being reminded of Rev. Lee's message about Daniel's three friends who kept their faith in the furnace of blazing fire. A week later, the work of God began. The thick scabs that had developed for the last 15 years began falling off by themselves. His skin began to regenerate. Hallelujah!

Having experienced such a healing work, in June 2014 my family paid a visit to Manmin in Seoul. We expressed gratefulness to Dr. Jaerock Lee and received his prayer in person. We also visited the Muan Sweet Water Site in Muan, Jeonnam Province and submerged ourselves in Muan Sweet Water Pool seven times. An amazing thing happened again. The skin of all my family members turned smooth. We no longer needed cream that we had to have applied after a shower. My son's condition has been improved. I feel like I was in a dream. His disease was once all our pain, but now it has shown us the way of meeting the God of love. We give all thanks and glory to God.
