"Am I going to really die?"
Medically I was sentenced to death.

I had pain on my shoulders for some time, but I don't recall really how long. It was getting worse. I took pain killers but they worked only for a short while and the piercing pain returned. I received acupuncture at an oriental medical clinic and received physical therapy, but all of them were of no use. I had a headache and my nose was always stopped up.

One day in October 2012, there was blood on my pillow when I got up in the morning. I thought I had a nosebleed because I had been so tired. In February 2013, I had a nosebleed again. I finally went to hospital. CT scan showed a big tumor at the base of my nose and the doctor recommended I go to another bigger hospital. The test result said I had nasopharyngeal cancer in the 4th stage. The doctor told me he couldn't guarantee my life.

My wife asked the doctor if there were chances that I could survive it. But he just told her to do what I wanted. The fact that I would die shocked me and caused me to just shed tears.

On March 19, 2013, I went to a university hospital in Seoul and had a biopsy, PET-CT scan (It is the device for diagnosing cancer or finding the place in the body where cancer first started to grow and where the cancer has spread), and MRI scan. The result told me that I had nasopharyngeal cancer in the 4th stage and the size of the tumor was 5.5cm. Worse, the cancer was spread to lymph glands and bones including cervical vertebrae, shoulder blades, spine, and coccyx. Moreover, the tumor was in my respiratory tract in my nose, so even a surgery was impossible.


I listened to 'The Message of the Cross' and I repented of my past life

My past life went through my mind and I regretted it. In fact, I had been guided to Manmin Central Church by my sister Mrs. Boknim Lee, President of Manmin Prayer Center in December 1982. Then, I attended the church for six months. I witnessed that Pastor Jaerock Lee, my brother-in-law, was healed of his many kinds of diseases. I also saw my nieces and a man dying of carbon monoxide poisoning coming to life by Pastor Lee's prayer. I saw many amazing powerful works.

However, I still preferred the world. I was a police officer and I liked to drink alcohol and enjoy the life of worldly pleasures in my youth. I ignored my family's advice and left the Lord.

In April, 2013, Senior Deaconess Jeongnim Lee, my third eldest sister said that the prayer meeting was being held by Manmin Prayer Center's President Mrs. Lee and told me to attend it. With a grateful heart, I attended. Mrs. Lee hopefully said that God would surely heal my disease if I attended church, repented, and prayed earnestly.

Then, I went to Mokpo Manmin Church and listened attentively to Dr. Jaerock Lee's message in Sunday Morning Service. I couldn't stop regretting my life and shedding tears of repentance. Moreover, I had liked Senior Pastor Dr. Lee, so I wanted to see him so much. But I felt ashamed since I hadn't attended church and I was also diagnosed with cancer.

Mrs. Lee gave me the 24 audio tapes on The Message of the Cross which is Dr. Lee's sermon series. While listening to them, I received great grace for the love of God and the Lord's love on the cross. I didn't know how to pray, but started to thoroughly repent with tears that I had enjoyed drinking alcohol and fighting with people in my teens and twenties and my past life that had nothing to do with belief in God.


By the prayer of power, the spreading tumor as well as nasopharyngeal cancer vanished

My third eldest sister advised me to receive Dr. Lee's prayer. I felt shameful but I was happy to hear her advice and prepared with a heart that felt like it was fluttering. Then, I received his prayer for the first time.

On May 29, 2013, when his hand touched my head, heat was spread from head to backbone. At the same time, an amazing thing happened. The pain caused by cancer spread to shoulder and backbone disappeared. I had slept curled up due to pain, but that night I could lie straight on my back while sleeping. I was also given faith to be completely healed. The medical test result said the tumor became smaller as much as 3cm. I had lost weight from 85kg to 71kg (around 187lb to 156lb), but I also gained weight little by little because I recovered a good appetite.

From June 24 in 2013, I attended Manmin Prayer Center's Divine Healing Meeting. When the President preached the message, I saw the image of Jesus on the banner of the Divine Healing Meeting that was behind Mrs. Lee. The following day my wife and I realized that it was shown only to us and we felt thrilled throughout our whole bodies. Afterwards, I continued to thoroughly repent in every meeting that I loved the world without believing in God.

On June 28, I received Dr. Lee's prayer for the second time. When his hand was laid on my head, the heat of the Holy Spirit came upon me on my head again. I felt peaceful and joyful. Back in Mokpo, I was filled with thanks while listening to Dr. Lee's message and giving worship services and tears of repentance flowed from my eyes every time.

Meantime, in August 2013, I gave a loud sneeze and a part of tumor mass came out through my nose. It smelled like rotten meat. After this happened, my medical test result showed the tumor was reduced in half again. I was astounded. The scan before showed my backbones were black because of the spreading cancer, but on that day the scan showed my bones had turned white.

On November 15 I received Dr. Lee's prayer for the third time. Then, on November 27, I went to hospital again to have a test. The doctor said the tumor had been almost gone and only its root is left. Afterwards, I came to have a great appetite and I was becoming healthy.

On March 7, 2014, finally, a miracle happened again. The tumor in my nose that had spread to my lymph glands was uprooted completely. All the tumor that had spread to my bones disappeared except for a little trace of tumor in cervical vertebrae 1 and 2. Hallelujah! I give all thanks and glory to God who gave a new life to me who was on the doorstep of death due to cancer in the latest stage.
