I attended church when I was young, but I had never seen any signs and wonders as written in the Bible. Since I had never experienced the living God, I just attended Sunday Morning Service and enjoyed playing table tennis, billiard, baduk, and go-stop (Korean traditional card game). But I thought I would be saved.

Meantime, I learned that my cousin-in-law Elder Hongki Park who had been suffering from the newly-discovered 'pollution disease' for seven years was healed of it in May, 1997 by attending Manmin Central Church's two-week-consecutive Special Revival Meeting and receiving Dr. Jaerock Lee's prayer.

In 2002, I came to be assured of the living God and my family and I started our Christian lives in Manmin Central Church. In those days, my mother was troubled with serious pain because she had injured her back and her backbone had protruded for the previous ten years. She received Dr. Lee's prayer. Around 15 minutes later, her projecting backbone moved and it became normal…and the pain was gone!

I felt so thankful for the grace of God who healed my mother that I cut myself off from enjoying worldly pleasures and started to offer up every kind of services and devote myself to prayer. I longed to listen to the Word of God and attended places of grace. I also tried my best to fulfill my God-given duties.

Then, I found myself in the Word of God with realization that my family members had difficult times because of my authoritative attitude towards them. I asked my wife to obey my word all the time and I burst into anger when my children didn't listen to me. But Dr. Jaerock Lee didn't ignore even little children and valued the church members more than his own life. He also prayed for the sick with all his strength.

I made up my mind to follow the example of Dr. Lee and change. From then, I started to serve my wife and children without self-centeredness. Even when my children couldn't pray and had lukewarm faith, I didn't force them and just helped them pray. We lived in Incheon, so when they found it hard for them to pray in the central church in Seoul I prayed together with them in Daniel Prayer Meeting in the local sanctuary near our home or at home via GCN TV. I saw them through the eyes of faith and could see that they would change sometime and lead fervent Christian lives.

In 2010, I began to enjoy reading the Bible and listening to Dr. Jaerock Lee's sermons such as Love Chapter, Beatitudes, and Nine Fruits of the Holy Spirit. As much as I kept realization from the messages in my heart and prayed earnestly, my wife and children also tried hard to change themselves by means of the Word of God and prayer. In the end, all my family members joined the race of faith to achieve the heart of spirit and, moreover, to run towards New Jerusalem in Heaven

Pastor Heesun Ku, my daughter serves the members as the 21st Parish Pastor. Brother Kyunghwae Ku, my son belongs to Harmony Team. Senior Deaconess Hyunsuk Lee, my wife works as a group leader of Prayer Devotees' Group. I am Vice President of 2nd Elders' Association and Male District Leaders' Association. I cherish my God-given duties and prioritize God's works, so God has blessed me in my business and to get recognition in society.

In January 2003, I opened a tax accounting firm. Since then, my income has constantly increased for 11 years. I am recognized as a diligent person, an able man, and for just management. As recognition for contribution to national tax administration, I received Award of Ministry of Strategy and Finance and Award of Prime Minister, which glorified God.

I currently work as President of Northern Incheon Tax Accountants' Association, a member of Fair Taxation Committee in Northern Incheon, and a lecturer of Korea Association of Realtors. I give all thanks glory to God who blessed my soul to prosper and give this testimony.
