My family was poor, and there were many people in my family. It forced us to live day by day in poverty. Additionally, my granddaughter Annalie (aged 8) couldn't walk at all because she was born malnourished and had a weak body. She just spent day and night at the door. To make matters worse, my son-in-law abandoned the home when Annalie turned 3. My daughter had to raise her alone.

I lived in poverty, so I found it hard to even to go to church. But in 2013 I was guided by a young man to Cebu Manmin Church, ministered to by Pastor Rosetta Sung. Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee's sermons comforted me and softened my heart. I learned that I could enter a better dwelling place in Heaven to the extent that I keep the Sabbath holy, offer up whole tithes, and achieve the heart of the Lord.

I was also given an opportunity to experience the amazing power of the Holy Spirit on December 8, 2013. That is, Cebu Manmin Church had Rev. Heesun Lee's handkerchief healing meeting (Acts 19:11-12). To be honest, I had never imagined that my granddaughter would ever walk because she had never been able to walk for eight years.

Rev. Lee preached the sermon on fleshly faith and spiritual faith and prayed for the sick with the handkerchief. My granddaughter also received the prayer while sitting up. Then, an astonishing thing happened! With the help of someone holding her hands she started to walk. Hallelujah!

It had not been a long time since I started to attend church, but by the power of the Holy Spirit, God healed my granddaughter who hadn't been able to walk for eight years—her entire life. Annalie's mother, my daughter, felt very happy about it that she also accepted the Lord and she is now attending church and living happily. Thank you, Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee!
