Deaconess Keumah Park and her family (2-12 Parish)

After marriage in 1994, as a result my husband's job working in the Gwangyang Steel Mill, I moved to Gwangyang in Jeonnam Province. I attended Yeosu Manmin Church that is ministered to by Pastor Hangyeop Lee. It is about one-hour's distance from us.
My husband, Deacon Hwikun Cho still drank alcohol and smoked although he had attended another church before getting married. However, he stopped drinking and smoking after listening to Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee's sermon tape on The Message of the Cross. His Christian life was renewed. He bought a van to provide free rides to church for the members who lived far away.
God of love let us experience His touches in the journey of faith. When I was pregnant with my second daughter, my doctor said that the umbilical cord was around her neck. He also said I was in need of a caesarean. I prayed to God for a safe delivery. As I believed, I delivered the baby without the caesarean.
My first daughter (Love Cho, on the left in picture) was in an accident involving a car when she was an elementary school student in 2004. At that time the car's wheels went over her ankle. But in God's protection, she was not injured at all. My second daughter (Hwajin Cho, right in picture) recovered good eyesight from 0.2/0.2 to 0.9/0.9 by the prayer of Dr. Lee. Now she doesn't wear glasses and severe atopic dermatitis was completely healed.


Moving to Seoul and starting a new chapter in life as a Christian

God protected all my family members. But as time went by, I got lazy in praying and lost fullness of the Spirit. I made up my mind in 2005 thinking 'no more slump in faith' and moved to Seoul with my children. We started our Christian lives in Manmin Central Church and my husband moved to Seoul later in 2008 due to his job.
My family became very happy listening to Dr. Lee's message and being able to greet him face to face. I was given the duty as a leader of my parish's cell leaders. But I seemed to change quite slowly even though working faithfully. A thought came to me, 'I can no longer stay at this level.'
From January 2 in 2013, I offered 100-day-vowed prayer with fasting one meal a day. On Easter Sunday in 2013, a great change was brought to my heart. I had been selfish and had many negative thoughts such as worries and anxiety that were made in my poor growth background. But I felt all those go away little by little. I was encouraged, and I again began giving 100-day-vowed prayer in June 2013.


Change, healing, and blessing both in spirit and body

On August 5, 2013 I received an amazing blessing in Manmin Summer Retreat. In the seminar on the first day of the retreat through Dr. Lee's prayer, I was healed of incurable urinary incontinence!
I got urinary incontinence after my second child's delivery. For 15 years, I underwent this leakage of urine when I sneezed or jumped a rope or even when I laughed loudly. And I had to go to bathroom almost once an hour. I tried not to drink fluids and even felt afraid of going out. But after the prayer, I didn't have to go to bathroom as often as before although I drank a lot of water. Since then, I have not experienced any of the symptoms. Hallelujah!
