Sister Kwantida Inkan (Chiang Rai Manmin Church in Thailand)


I am a 12th grader in Maetam High School of Science in Thailand. In August 2012, I received a leaflet about a free Korean class that Chiang Rai Manmin Church offered and went to the 'church' for the first time in my life.
While learning Korean in the church, I felt like church members were my family and realized the love of God and the Lord during services. At that time, Chiang Rai Manmin Church watched Dr. Lee's sermon DVD entitled "Spirit, Soul, and Body" during Sunday Morning Service. I was greatly touched by the message and changed myself. I could get rid of hatred from my heart and changed my thoughts in a positive way.
In October 2012, I was attending every kind of service but I was finally faced with the conflict with my parents who were devout Buddhists. It was that I could go to church only after my school grade went up. So, I tried hard to serve my parents according to the Word of God, prayed, and studied hard.
God gave me wisdom and allowed me to acquire much knowledge in a short period of time. In March, 2013, my school grade went up very high. I even received Outstanding Student Award that is given to exemplary students who show outstanding learning performance. Hallelujah!
My parents no longer oppose my attending church. I am studying hard, serving them well, and trying hard to become holy by means of the Word and prayer. I also distributed Manmin News with a thankful heart to the Lord for His great grace given to me. Thank You, Lord who saved me who was destined to eternal death.
