Pastor Pa Hrang Hmung in the Manmin Central Church's Anniversary Service


I am a pastor of Rai Baptist Church located in Mandalay, the second most prominent city of Myanmar. Currently, I have performed my ministry by translating and publishing Christian books in Myanmarese.

The year 2006 was a meaningful year for me. A theological seminary student from India gave me Dr. Jaerock Lee's testimony book Tasting Eternal Life before Death.

Reading the book, I felt like the Lord was talking to me. I received great grace and became so moved that I wanted other people of Myanmar to know and meet the living God through the book.

I was keen to know about the book's author and I had a burning heart to translate his books into Myanmarese and publish them. I called Urim Books and told them that I want to translate Dr. Lee's books into Myanmarese.


My life's turning point

On March 12, 2007, I was accepted as a translator of Manmin by God's grace and Dr. Jaerock Lee's consideration. I can't express how joyful I was. After that I was able to maintain constant contact with Manmin Central Church. Most of all, I was longing to see and meet with Dr. Lee who had written the testimony book.

In October, 2008, I finally visited Manmin Central Church. Until this very day I haven't forgotten what I saw there: the church members' Christian lives being lived to resemble the heart of the Lord; the miracles that took place in Manmin Central Church; and the ministry of Dr. Lee, a man with whom God walks.

I was surprised by the Muan Sweet Water Site where salty water had been changed into sweet water and various kinds of rainbows displayed there. What I realized during Sunday Services, Friday All-night Service, and Daniel Prayer Meeting has been great help to my spiritual growth and my ministry.

I often pray to the Lord with tears day and night because I really want to lead my Christian life with Dr. Lee and Manmin Members. I am now filled with happiness and joy. This is because in God's grace these days I am focused on translation works of Dr. Lee's books.

I have translated his testimony book Tasting Eternal Life before Death, his autobiography My Life My Faith I & II, his representative books The Message of the Cross and The Measure of Faith into Myanmarese language. How blessed I am that I can realize the deep spiritual world of God through Dr. Lee's books!


My life was changed by the Lord's grace

What impressed me so much was the miracles that happened in the crusades conducted in Thailand and Myanmar in November 2010. Just as extraordinary miracles took place through the handkerchiefs carried from the apostle Paul recorded in Acts chapter 19, I witnessed numerous people who were healed when the missionary prayed with the handkerchief on which Dr. Lee had prayed.

Additionally, I was amazed by signs and great power that were performed in Dr. Lee's India United Crusade while watching the DVD entitled "The Power of God." I couldn't help being touched by the fact that the signs Jesus had performed around 2,000 years ago are still taking place through Dr. Lee. Compared to his ministry, my ministry used to be like a dry desert.

But I have been totally changed by the Lord's grace since I met Manmin Central Church. My prayers have also changed and I have kept the holiness gospel in my heart every day. I am leading a happy life resembling the Lord.

The Lord has taught me many things through Dr. Lee's books and showed the direction that is my way to follow. Dr. Lee's books move my heart. His life and love for the Lord are different from others'. I want to spread his love widely.
