In accordance with God's Providence that seeks to save countless souls in Africa at the end of the age, Manmin Joong-ang Church established the Nairobi Manmin World Mission Center in October 1995 and commissioned Rev. Dr. Myong-Ho Cheong, Ph. D., who at the time was an English professor at Hoseo University. After searching for God's Word that could quench his spiritual thirst, Dr. Cheong became a registered member of Manmin in July 1991 and armed himself with Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee's spiritual word of great depths. God led Rev. Dr. Cheong to do missionary work in over 30 countries including the Philippines, India, Israel, and the like, and eventually led him to Africa. Rev. Dr. Cheong established Bible colleges and, through the "Spiritual Conferences for Church Leaders and Pastors," has taught countless pastors. Then on November 12, 2000, God led Rev. Dr. Cheong to establish Nairobi Manmin Holiness Church in Kenya and offer the "Founding Worship Service." More than four years later today, over 2,300 churches in eight countries in Africa have become members of the Association of the United Holiness Churches of Manmin and are serving as steppingstones from which the good news is spread to the 54 countries of the continent.
