[I Wonder] Different passage of time in different space

A few weeks ago a Korean woman named "So-yeon Yi" a 29-year old nanotechnology engineer, became the first South Korean aboard the International Space Station. Through her interview, we came to hear about the lives of the space abroad. Through this many Koreans became curious of other worlds other than the earth. This is because the lives of the space abroad were evidently different from ours. A day of the space is totally different from a day of the earth. On earth a day is referred to as the duration from the sunrise until the sunset, but in the space when the sun rises and sets down 14 times, a day has passed.

What then is the difference of the passage of time between different spaces?
Suppose there are two pools and we filled one with water up to the height of our waist and the other with mud to the same height. And two persons step into the pools and run the race. Which of the two persons will win? One man who walks in midst of mud-filled pool will have great difficulty, while the other will do it more easily than this. This can apply to the difference between the spiritual world and the physical world.
Suppose you have lived in the world filled with mud but not walked in water. You regard it as natural to have difficulties in walking in the mud-filled world. On the contrary, if you have lived in the world filled with water, what if you see someone else walking in mud? No matter fast he walks, he looks very slow to your eyes. If he sees you walking in water, he will be surprised at the speed of your walking.

If we compare the passing of time of the spiritual realm to the walking in water, the passing of time on this world can be compared to that in mud. The difference between the two worlds may be greater, but it will be enough to help you briefly understand.

Also, the Bible tells us about the difference between the two worlds; God has made the passage of time faster sometimes, slower sometimes or stop sometimes. That's why He instructs us in 2 Peter 3:8, "But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day."
