A Vessel for Quick Answers
"Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God; and whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight" (1 John 3:21-22).God can give answers to any kind of prayer for His beloved children, and He is pleased with giving answers. But we should understand how to bring down His answers quickly and put them in action. Let's look into some of the ways.
Have Assurance in the Faith to Be Saved
The reason why God performs wonders and signs is that He wants one more single soul to have the faith by which they can be saved and go to Heaven. Although you experience His great works, however, it will be of no use if you change your heart and turn from God.
In Luke 17:11-19, Jesus healed ten leprous men but nine of them left and only one of them returned and glorified God. The nine could be healed by the power of Jesus although they did not have the enough faith to be healed. Similarly, today most of those who are healed without such spiritual faith change and leave. Therefore, to receive answers from God, we should have faith worthy to experience His power. Only when we stand on faith with which we can be saved can we receive true answers and blessings.
Of course, one who has a mental disorder, who suffers from demon possession, or young children cannot have faith for themselves. Then, their parents or close relatives can pray for them with faith and love. When they cast off sins, become sanctified, walk in Light with longing for a better dwelling place in Heaven on behalf of sick people, they can receive answers as well.
Above all, they should understand what faith in the Lord is like, they should love God from the heart, and become God's beloved children.
Feel True Love from Your Heart
Mary Magdalene felt true love and truth when she met Jesus. She felt comforted and compensated for her painful life just because she met Him. Her love and service for Him never changed in any kind of situation. Because she had such a heart, she could be healed of all kinds of diseases all at once and become the first person who witnessed the Lord's resurrection.
As she did, we should feel the love of God from the depth of our hearts and achieve true love. We should cast off fleshly thoughts, and ask for spiritual faith. If you truly love God, you won't be disappointed even when you did not receive what you expected.
Suppose a person with congenital disability wants to receive healing. He has to have faith that is pleasing to God and move His heart. God's work of healing disabilities does not belong to any worldly knowledge or educated guesswork. Thus, if a person uses such worldly knowledge, he cannot have true faith.
He has to demolish fleshly thoughts and please God. Thereby, he should fulfill the justice that moves God's heart. If he fills the justice, then he will be given faith of healing and God will work on him.
Live a Life with Unceasing Thanks and Praise
If someone is calculating, he gives only when he receives. When he receives one, he gives one. When he gives one, he wants to receive one back. This kind of person thinks one should repay grace, and if other people do not repay his grace he feels uncomfortable. He expects to receive grace from God because he has dedicated and sowed much. If he does not receive as much grace as he thinks he should, he feels disappointed and troubled.
The God of love forgives, and then forgives again. He even forgives those who hurt His heart with sinning as long as they repent. When we plant anything for God with faith and love, He will give us with a good measure pressed down, shaken together, and running over and with thirty, sixty, and a hundred times. The love of God is so great that we cannot fathom the depth of His heart and the greatness.
If you realize His great love, you will feel so happy when you think about His love and will not spare anything, even all your possessions and life. You won't think, 'I've done this much but there has been nothing done for me.' You may think only of what you can give to Him and do so diligently. You may unceasingly give thanks and praise because you always think about the grace that you have received from God without any cost in your life.
Destroy the Wall of Sin in Repentance and Pray with Faith
The Old Testament says a medium or spiritist and idol worshippers should be stoned to death so that they should be destroyed (Leviticus 20; Deuteronomy 13, 17). A family that worshipped idols severely has many trials and problems (Exodus 20:3-6). Although they come to believe God, their Christian lives may be disturbed and may doze off during worship services. They may not understand the Word although they listened to it for several years or they may not be able to pray.
Moreover, if one practices divination and enchantments in communication with evil spirits or sells his spirit, it is infringing on God's sovereignty and this crosses the line as a person. God's wrath will come upon him, and evil spirits think he is their prey. So they try everything to stop him from believing in Jesus Christ although the person tries to become a Christian.
For a person who has built such a serious wall of sins before God, it is a great blessing for him to be able to believe God and be saved. He should give thanks for the great blessing and constantly pray and offer up worship services with faith. Then, God will fulfill his heart's desire. But he may have to put much more efforts to receive the answer but if he prays without ceasing in faith, he can receive the grace of repentance and be led to answers and blessings.
