When a married couple try to conceive yet are unable after more than a year of marriage, they are considered to be infertile. Also if they are not able to become pregnant for a certain period of time after childbirth or miscarriage repeatedly, they are considered as infertile as well. As a result of both the husband and wife working and women's increasing participation in society, the falling birth rate has become a serious problem. Additionally, the number of families suffering from infertility, even though they want a baby, is on the rise.
According to the Korean Institute for Health and Social Affairs, there are more than 1.4 million couples in Korea who are infertile. Despair and depression caused by infertility can disrupt families and it can even lead to divorce and suicide. In many parts of the Bible we can find that it is God who gives us life. Psalm 36: 9 reads "For with You is the fountain of life" and also Acts 17:25 reads "[God] Himself gives to all people life and breath and all things."

But it's impossible for them to engineer human reproductive cells because creating man's sperm and woman's egg is possible only with the power of God.
