"The 16th General Assembly and Ordination" of the United Holiness Church of Korea took place at Daejeon Manmin Church (Pastor: Rev. Taeshik Gil), June 26-27, 2006. Prior to the General Assembly on Monday the 26th, the Opening Service, presided by Rev. Taeshik Gil and with a message delivered by Rev. Sangtae Kim, was offered to God. The Service was followed by the General Assembly in which propositions and petitions were received, reports from each Regional Assembly heard, and resolutions from each department reported. On Tuesday the 27th was the Ordination at which Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee, Chairman of the Board of Directors, proclaimed a message titled "A Life in Which You Die Daily" (1 Corinthians 15:31) and urged each of the newly ordained pastors to become a spiritual warrior saving countless souls in the last days. Ordained on that day were Youngja Choi, Miyoung Lee, Jungwook Noh, Sungguk Yang of Seoul, Jongdae Park of Sokcho, Hyunbo Park of Masan, Yeon-ok Jung of Eastern Kwangju, David E. Lee of Kenya, Sharon C. Cho of the Philippines, and Sang-hui Kim of India.
