Manmin Mission Trip to Northern Areas was from February 10 to 26, 2004. The mission team had the 4th church leaders' conference and Handkerchief Healing Meeting traveling around the country of China. The spiritually-hungry people received the word of life proclaimed by the team and a lot of sick people experienced surprising works of divine healing; Happiness and hope were planted into their hearts.

China, the country of a great population of 1.3 billion

China has a very large territory of 9.6 million square kilometers, a hundred times larger than that of South Korea. Its borders are linked to 14 countries including North Korea, Russia, and India. Since it adopted open-door policy, it has grown so rapidly and put on the appearance of a globally great country.
China's population is about 1.3 billions and consists of various races – the Han race more than 90% of the population and 55 sorts of races. And China has 22 provinces, 4 municipality cities, and two SAR (Special Administrative Region) – Hong Kong and Macao.
Since the open-door policy was enacted, China Christianity has been spiritually thirsty and suffering from persecution, but has rapidly grown through the churches stabilized in the house. Now the number of Christians in China is estimated to be 90 million or 100 million. Manmin Joong-ang Church has sent 11 missionaries there and let them manage 22 branch churches to quench the thirst of the hungry souls of China.

The 4th Church Leaders' Conference and Handkerchief Meeting

This mission trip was accompanied with wonders and signs as the evidence of God's presence. When mission team arrived at the H Airport, the circular rainbow appeared on the sky, and the temperature, which had been reported as 10 to 30 degree below zero until the previous day, rose to the 3 degree below zero. Mission team did not feel severe coldness.
On February 11 and 12, the church leaders' conference and handkerchief healing meeting took place. Rev. Hyunchul Joo and Rev. Taegyu Paul delivered the message and strongly trained 140 servants of God including missionaries. They became spiritually awakened and amazing healing works occurred through the handkerchiefs Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee laid his hands on (Acts 19:11-12).
A man who had not walked for 35 years threw away crutches and began to walk after he received the handkerchief prayer. And a 70-year-old man came to the meeting with the paralysis of the lower half body and muteness, but was healed by the handkerchief prayer and cried, "Hallelujah!" Then continuously he added, "Oh, God, I sinned. My son, my daughter-in-law." All his family shed tears with deep thanks and glorified God. His son felt very thankful and started 21-day fasting prayer.

Handkercief Healing Tour to the country and Baptism Ceremony

They conducted handkerchief healing meetings in eight cities or towns from February 13 to 16. When they moved from one place to another place, they had to sit in the bus for six or seven hours or in the train for 18 hours.
Each trip God comforted them displaying circular rainbow on the sky and showed miraculous signs healing the sick who were not able to be healed with medicine or sicentific technology. The mission team gave glory and thanks to God.
Pastor Paul conducted the baptism ceremony and baptized more than 200 Chinese. They shed tears with joy and emotion, and it was very impressive to all people.
Meantime, another handkerchief meeting took place at the S City and a surprising miracle happened. A boy, who could not step on the ground with the heels or walk normally because of brain damage, came to step on the ground and began to walk freely after he received the handkerchief prayer. All gave great glory to God.

Monorities Youths' Bible Conference
The mission team arrived at the Konmyoung Airport on February 19, and joined the trip of North Mission of Manmin Joong-ang Church. They started a 16-hour bus trip and were headed for the area bordering Burma.
There many kinds of minority races live. When the mission team arrived there, the four races' youths gathered and the Bible conference was held. Rev. Joo spoke about God the Creator and the Savior Jesus Christ and his preaching was interpreted into three languages – Chinese, Litzu language and Zingbur language. The youths were very touched in their hearts and demanded Rev. Joo to come again in August or September this year.

Handkerchiefs Healing Meetings for Minority Races

They had handkerchief healing meeting for three minority races, and through the meeting they were reminded of the Great Commission of Jesus Christ written in Matthew 28:19 – "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."
The minority races are living on the high land 500 to 3000 meters high, and have their distinct culture and language. They are hardly learned and suffer from spine hernia or arthritis caused by hard work. They repented their sins after listening to the word of life and were healed through the prayer of handkerchief's power.
The mission team started a long car trip at 2 AM on February 21, and had to sit in the jolting car for 23 hours. Next day at 3 PM, they arrived at the church that Manmin missionary P established. There they had a starting service with 27 church members in the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
In brief, during 17-day mission trip, the Manmin mission team preached the life-filled message of Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee at the vast land of China and let a lot of Chinese glorify God performing amazing works of the power with handkerchief that Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee prayed on.
