On November 19, 2023 Thanksgiving Sunday services were streamed live on GCN TV and YouTube and we gave thanks and glory to God for His abundant grace and blessing.
Thanksgiving Sunday is dated back to the Feast of Ingathering (Exodus 23:16) and on the Day we give thanks to God for the fruit that you have gathered from your labors at the end of the year.
In the morning service Senior Pastor Jaerock Lee delivered a message titled with ‘A prepared vessel’ based on Luke 10:2 on screen. In the evening service, Acting Senior Pastor Soojin Lee preached with title “How to enter into the joy of your master” based on Matthew 25:19-21 and Matthew 26:26-28 and then she officiated the Holy Communion in which the believers eat the bread and drink the cup symbolizing the Lord’s flesh and blood.
Baptism was performed a week before the Thanksgiving Sunday, and the catechism in preparation of baptism was done two weeks before.
