From July 31 to August 2, Manmin Summer Retreat 2023 was held at Oak Valley Resort Convention Hall in Wonju City, Gangwon-do under the heme of ‘Be strong and courageous’ based on Joshua 1:6-8.

This event was attended by pastors and believers from 10 countries including Taiwan, Malaysia, Mongolia, Canada, Colombia, Philippines, and Australia. It was simultaneously translated in 15 languages including English, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, Russian, and French, and live broadcast to the world on GCN TV, YouTube, Facebook, etc.



In the arrival service, the first session of the event held at 2 pm, Speaker Mrs Boknim Lee, Manmin Prayer Center President, delivered the message entitled with ‘Give me this mountainous region’ based on Joshua 14:10-13. Then she led a Spirit-filled prayer meeting and many in attendance repented and prepared proper vessels for answers, healing, and blessing.

In the evening session, at 7:30 pm, a special seminar was held along with divine healing meeting. Speaker Acting Senior Pastor Soojin Lee delivered the message entitled with ‘Be strong and courageous’ based on Joshua 1:6-8. In the message, she said, “As children of God we must be strong and courageous before Him to enter the beautiful heaven, to receive answers to our prayer, and to fulfill God’s providence. God takes delight in such children and to become those strong and courageous children of God we have to put on the full armor of God.” Then, she told us how to put on the full armor of God, explaining spiritual meanings embedded in the verses Ephesians 6:13-18: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit. And she asked us to offer fervent prayers.



After the message, she led praise and prayer for repentance and prayed for the sick from the podium with the handkerchief of power Senior Pastor Jaerock Lee had prayed on (Acts 19:11~12). As a result, many were healed of various diseases including cerebral infarction, rheumatoid arthritis, herniated disc, aftermath of surgery, spinal fracture, neuralgia, and skin disease. And bent backs were straightened, and eyesight and hearing were restored.

During the event, many healing testimonies were also sent from abroad. Brother Thomas from India testified a lump on the neck disappeared during the divine healing meeting. Sister Libya Savedra from Colombia’s eyesight was restored after she felt hot and cool in the eyes in receiving the prayer. Sister Milagros Pardo from Peru was healed of headaches and body aches during the campfire praise session (see page 4). Healing cases are continually being received from Mexico, Chile, Venezuela, Spain, etc.
