MIS Awakens Pastors Around the Globe
National University of San Antonio Cusco Presents Honorary Professorship to Dr. Kooyoung Chung
Pastors around the world are being spiritually awakened by MIS(Manmin International Seminary).
In Russia, in Izhevsk from June 16 to 17, and in St. Petersburg, from June 19 to 20, pastors' conferences were held with the speaker Dr. Kooyoung Chung, under the title "Measure of Faith," which was attended by pastors inter-denominationally. They were touched and impressed by the messages and joined as partners of Manmin's ministries.
Also, on May 21, the National University of San Antonio Cusco, Peru, presented an honorary professorship to Dr. Kooyoung Chung(former president of Seoul Women's University). National University of San Antonio Avad is located in Cusco, which used to be the capital city of Inca civilization, and boasts of the long history of 315 years. The professorship is also certified by the Peruvian government.
The president of the National University of San Antonio Avad, Dr. Victor Raul Aguilar Callo said they decided to present this honorary professorship considering Dr. Chung's excellent scholarly achievements and her great contribution to the world culture. He also said he wanted more cooperation and exchanges in various aspects with universities in Korea.
Meanwhile, the Mayor of the city of Cusco requested Rev. Jaerock Lee to pray for Machupicchu to be selected as one of the new 7 wonders of the world in 21st century, and the civil workers of Cusco city received his prayer real-time through Internet live-broadcast.
Machupicchu is located at the top of the valley of Urubamba at 2,280m above sea level, in the northeast of Cusco city. It is known to have been built by ancient civilization of Inca, and is filled with mysteries having buildings that are built with gigantic rocks that weigh more than 200 tons.
Dr. Kooyoung Chung went around the United States and Latin America, spiritually awakening many pastors with life-filled messages as the speaker for pastors' conferences from April 23 to June 2 in 10 cities of 8 countries: the United States, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Peru, and Bolivia. More than 200 churches joined as partner churches with the hope to learn the gospel of holiness more deeply and spread it.
Dr. Kooyoung Chung also spoke for a conference under the title "Spiritual Law – Science and Creation" in the National University of San Antonio Cusco, and in the Cusco city convention center on May 24 and 25. It was live-broadcast in the local TV station CTC earning strongly positive responses from many viewers.
