At 7:30 PM on April 15, a special prayer meeting was held by the Honam Area Council of the United Holiness Church of Jesus Christ.
The prayer meeting was attended by the members of Gwangju, Yeosu, Muan, Iksan, Jeonju, Sooncheon, Mokpo, Gunsan, and Jeju Manmin churches along with some of the pastors and leaders from Central and Yeongnam Area Councils.
It was presided by Pastor Hyeongryeol Park, the Vice-president of Honam Council, and Pastor Myeongsool Kim offered representative prayer and special songs were performed by the movie actor, Yeongrok Park, Deaconess Soohyeong Jeong, and Onyu Lee.
The speaker Pastor Soojin Lee said we could see the big picture of God's plan if we trust Him and march on with faith even during the trials of blessing. "Gratefully, God is showing us His power all over the world, which means He still attests to our church. Let us turn this trial into a chance of sanctification and prepare for the blessings that will be poured out soon," she urged the attendants.
After a time of repentance and a praise song, they prayed for fulfilling their God-given duties and to be faithful in all God's household. After the prayers to receive the Holy Spirit, she prayed for the sick people with the powerful handkerchief on which our Senior Pastor Rev. Jaerock Lee prayed (Acts 19:11-12). Many people were healed.
Mancheol Lee from Gwangju recovered his eyesight. Jaehyeon Ko had his hearing restored after 60 years, which he had lost during his infancy.
Among those healed were Jeonghwa Kim of Milyang who was healed of frozen shoulders; Jeongsook Choi of Muan, herniated cervical disc; Woonja Kwon of Daejeon, arthritis; and Jeongnyeo Bae of Seoul, trigger finger.
Pastor Hyeongryeol Park said, "Many were healed in the fiery works of the Holy Spirit and they were united in the fullness of the Holy Spirit. Honam Council will strive to fulfill the providence of God."
