In our world today, conversation between parents and children is scarce and there are many elements in our society tempting youths to go astray. At such a critical time, the Sunday School provided an opportunity for love of great depths to be felt and shared by hosting "The Special Praise Service" at 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2007, in the Fourth Sanctuary at Manmin Joong-ang Church.
After a time of Spirit-filled praise, Speaker Rev. Dong-cho Shin encouraged parents and their children "never to imitate the world and its ways and always make every effort to completely throw away all images of untruths" (2 Timothy 3:1-4).
With such events as "A Message to My Parents" and "Words of Gratitude," "Presentation of Carnations," and announcing the results of various surveys, parents and children were given a time to reaffirm their mutual understanding and love.
Furthermore, in an effort to help students of the Sunday School further nurture their faith and revival of the Praise Service, the Sunday School will hold Special Saturday Praise Services until June 9.
