Urim Books is spearheading the world mission as a member of Evangelical Christian Publishers Association (ECPA), Christian Booksellers Association (CBA), and Korean Publishers Association.


Seoul International Book Fair 2011 (www.sibf.or.kr) was held under the title 'Books Are One Thousand Eyes Which See the Future'. This event was organized and managed by Korean Publishers Association and supported by Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, Korean Publishing Foundation, Bumwoosa Co., Ltd., Aram Publishing Company, and Daum Communications. It took place from June 15 to June 19 in the COEX, World Trade Center, Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, Korea.

Five hundred seventy-one publishing companies from 23 countries including France, Germany, and Italy participated in the 17th Seoul International Book Fair 2011. The kinds of books introduced by them were varied ranging from children's literature, human sociology, literature, to philosophy and the arts.

Urim Book (www.urimbooks.com) took part in the book fair and promoted Dr. Jaerock Lee's 60 books. It also displayed 130 volumes of the books in 25 languages and 120 e-books and publicized the world mission of Manmin Central Church for the many publishers and visitors.

Dr. Jaerock Lee was named as one of the top 10 most influential Christian leaders in both 2009 and 2010 by In Victory (www.invictory.org), a leading Christian portal site in Russian-speaking countries and the Christian Telegraph, a Christian portal site in English-speaking countries.

The site of Urim Books was situated in booth No. 116, Hall A. The booth was decorated aiming at introducing the faithful life and the ministry of Dr. Lee who met the living God while he was afflicted with disease. He received healing and was called as a servant of the Lord. He has since spread the holiness gospel filled with life and has awakened many souls with the power of the Holy Spirit.

Urim Books is one of the tools which preach the holiness gospel for souls' salvation through publication ministry. It has published and distributed Dr. Lee's various books in many languages.

Dr. Lee's books published by Urim Books contain the message full of insight as seen through the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. They are very understandable to everybody regardless of age and sex and helpful for all readers' spiritual growth.

There were special exhibitions such as 'Our Brilliant Record Cultural Heritage' and 'Electronic Publication'. There were seminars covering topics including digital publication, direction in publication of children's books, etc. 'Conversation with Writers' was also held where visitors could talk to several well-known writers and 'Humanities Café' program presented writers giving simple lectures. All added to the excitement of the event.


* 'Urim' refers to the breastplate of judgment that was used by the high priest to ask the will of God. 'Urim' means 'lights' in Hebrew as recorded in Exodus 28:30. Light refers to the Word of God that gives us life.
