"The Church Filled with Eagerness for God!"

Mr. Sergey Velbovets, Founder and President of In Victory Media Group and Sergey Sergienko, In Victory Magazine's editor-in-chief paid a visit to Manmin Central Church. They promised to spread the church news filled with grace to people all over the world.

Mr. Sergey Velbovets, the founder of In Victory News Agency (www.invictory.org) and In Victory Magazine, one of the world's largest online Christian portal sites serving Russian speakers worldwide and Sergey Sergienko, editor in chief, made a visit to Manmin Central Church from April 22nd to April 28th.

They said that they came to the church in order to answer questions from readers of the magazine about the church. They are quoted as saying that Manmin Central Church has become widely known among many people through articles of In Victory News Agency website and Magazine. They went on to say that readers are wondering what they are supposed to do to receive the handkerchief prayer (Acts 19:11-12), how they can visit Manmin Central Church, and other such questions. Those questions and interests of readers resulted in their visit to the church and have a closer look at Manmin's ministry.

On April 22nd, they had an interview with Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee. They let him know readers' testimonies which have been sent since Dr. Lee's sermons and books were introduced. They also talked about the significance of media ministry.

On April 24th, during Sunday morning service, Mr. Sergey Velbovets gave a plague of appreciation to Dr. Lee that celebrated his being named as one of 'the top 10 most influential Christian leaders of 2010.' They attended and covered the Sunday evening service, Friday all-night service, Easter Celebration Performance, Mini Divine Healing Meeting, and Daniel prayer meetings. They also interviewed a number of believers and servants of the Lord including members of Chuncheon Manmin Church who had been protected by Dr. Lee's prayer from the outbreak of hoof-and-mouth disease. They interviewed members who reside at the Manmin Welfare Center, members of the Love of the Lord Mission (North Korean refugee group), and Nissi Orchestra.


On April 23rd, a reporter of Manmin News interviewed both of them at one of the reception halls.


How do you feel after seeing the 2011 Easter Celebration Performance?

Sergey Velbovets: I felt like I was in the scene out of Jesus' ministry. While watching the performance, which showed both reality of the physical and spiritual world at the time, my desire to seek the Lord became stronger through angels' holy dances.

Sergey Sergienko: It was so fantastic that it could be played on Broadway. I think it would be awesome to produce it with 3D imaging and make it available for many people to watch it.


Comments relating to their interview with Dr. Lee

Sergey Velbovets: Though Dr. Lee's answers sounded very easy and simple, there were implications of extremely profound and significant meaning in his answers. I believe that he has been playing the role of the messenger who conveys the heart of God to people.

Sergey Sergienko: I have met with many pastors. Most of them appeared to be more interested in what they want rather than what God wants. However, Dr. Lee has obeyed only in accordance with the Word of God. I think that is why he has manifested miracles during his ministry.


Manmin's broadcasting and publication ministry

Sergey Velbobets: I am very grateful to Manmin Central Church which has always borne the best fruit. A large number of people are longing to personally see the grace-filled church's believers. I wish for the programming and books of Manmin Central Church to be spread all around the world in many more languages.

Sergey Sergienko: He is right. Please, let people of the world know about Manmin's ministry and the Christian lives led by the members worldwide. In western countries, the fervor for God has cooled down. However, the eagerness here can actually be witnessed and felt. The daily lives of the members look very special to us. I want to extend my thanks to all of you who are leading such blessed lives.

Sergey Velbovets: Many churches talk only about the subjects of prosperity, blessings, and social networking. But, it is a totally different story for Manmin Central Church. The word 'sanctification' helps the church keep conducting an active and effective role as a church.


What is the reason you had interviews with so many of the believers?

Sergey Velbobets: Manmin Central Church is alive. Since the Word of God permeates the lives of the members of the church it is both 'living and active' which has a positive influence on people around the world.
