Preparing for 'The Year of Reaping' through the Daniel Prayer Meeting

From January 4 to January 24, Daniel Prayer Meeting's third 21-day special dedicated prayer period of the 20th session was held at the main sanctuary under the continued guidance, support and leadership of the Manmin Prayer Center President, Boknim Lee, with the theme "Make a New Leap in This Reaping Year!" Continuing in Daniel Prayer Meeting, the 4th period started on January 25 with the theme "Reap Abundant Fruit Entering the Flow of Change!"
Manmin Prayer Center is going to have the first 'Special Prayer Meeting for the Sick' of the New Year at the New Comers' Welcoming Room after Sunday Morning Service on January 31.

Ida Manmin Church Having a 40-Day Relay Fasting

Inda Manmin Church, under the guidance of Pastor Seung-gil Ryu, is one of the Japanese branch churches. The church is offering 'The Whole Congregation 40-Day Fasting Prayer Relay' from January 19 to February 27.
The first prayer title is to 'Let Us Become Proper Vessels for Entering into the Canaan Sanctuary'. The second prayer title is 'The Growth of Every Members' Faith.' On January 27th a handkerchief prayer healing meeting was held with the Speaker Pastor Ryu.

The Children's Version of The Measure of Faith Being Sold

On January 22 the children's version of The Measure of Faith began being sold in the church's bookstore. This book has been simplified, abbreviated and edited for children from Dr. Jaerock Lee's book The Measure of Faith and will be used as a textbook for Children's Sunday School. The price is 3,000 won (about 3 dollars in US currency).

The United Canaan Mission Had a Meeting with Senior Pastor

The United Canaan Mission (Guidance Pastor: Senior Deaconess Hyunsook Cho) had a meeting with Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee at his home at 1:20 in the afternoon on this past January 16.
Dr. Lee said, "I am thankful to God who protected Manmin members while the world was in tribulation with swine flue, heavy snow, earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. And I hope that all of you find the secrets to blessing by understanding the spiritual realm based on your intelligence and knowledge, become a man of spirit as soon as possible, and thereby greatly glorify God in this 'Year of Reaping', 2010."

Sending the Love of the Lord by Collecting Winter Clothes

From last January 18 to 24 we had an event 'Sending the Love of the Lord by Collecting Winter Clothes'. Many members regardless of age or sex brought their winter clothes and put them in the collecting box placed between the second sanctuary and the main sanctuary. The clothes that were collected will be distributed to the homeless near Seoul Station, Myung-dong and Toegye Street through 'Canaanhappy Company' (Director Pastor Sangbok Lee).
Early last year, the members of the 31st Parish (Parish Leader: Pastor Sunghun Ahn) gathered winter clothes and donated them. But this year, the event was extended to the entire congregation aiming to spread the love of the Lord.
