Dr. Rev. Jaerock Lee

Pescara, ITALY (CR Newswire)--- On Sept. 6-7, South Korean evangelical pastor and author Dr. Rev. Jaerock Lee led "International Multi-Cultural Festival" at the Jerusalem International Convention Center, Israel. The Holy City, with sites sacred to Jews(80.1%), Muslims(14.6%) and Christians(2.1%), attracts millions of pilgrims every year and has been the volatile heart of the Arab-Israeli conflict for decades.

The event, whose theme is "God is Great," was being broadcast live to 220 countries with a series of satellite TV stations that covered the world beaming out the events.

On the first day of the festival Dr. Lee preached a message about "God the Creator," and on the second day (Sept. 7) "Why is Jesus Christ our only Savior?", which is the main message of his book "Understanding the Message of the Cross of Jesus Christ"(ISBN: 978-8889127650, Destiny Image Europe).

He digested the four conditions to be our Savior. First, he has to be a human being. Second, he must not be a descendant of Adam. Third, he must have the power to redeem. Fourth, he must have love.

"Wherever The Message of the Cross was preached, the Holy Spirit worked like blazing fire, and many people began to understand God's plan and have hope for eternal life through this message", says Dr. Lee.

The messages were interpreted from Korean to English and Russian and also simultaneously interpreted into Hebrew, French, Spanish, Ethiopian and Chinese, which the audiences could hear with headsets.

After his messages, Dr. Lee began praying for the sick each night, scores came forward to the platform where many testified to their healing.

"The near-blind discarded their glasses and claimed crystal-clear sight. The crippled cast aside canes and vacated wheelchairs to stumble and leap in joy. One woman shouted she had been cured of 'cancer of the womb', and another of tuberculosis", the Jerusalem post reported on 7th Sept.

Originally, The Message of the Cross has been published in Korean in 2002, and has been published into 17 languages: English, French, German, Japanese, Chinese(Traditional/Simplified), Spanish, Russian, Tamil, Urdu, Nepali, Indonesian, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Thai, Arabic, and Hebrew.

Dr. Jaerock Lee has founded many missionary groups and organizations, and his church has 100,000 members and 9,000 branch churches around the world.
