At least once in his life, every person asks himself, "Which came first, the chicken or the egg?" If a debate on this issue is ever held, the two opposing sides would go back and forth, endlessly insisting on each other, "The chicken came first!" or "No, it's the egg!" but end up reaching a conclusion, "It cannot be determined." Well, which came first? The answer to this question is found in the Bible. God the Creator created every living creature in the beginning "after its kind." In other words, God did not first create an egg to be hatched; from the onset, He created "cattle and creeping things and beasts of the earth after their kind."
"And God made the beasts of the earth after their kind, and the cattle after their kind, and everything that creeps on the ground after its kind; and God saw that it was good" (Genesis 1:25).
