"Antlers", one of the Aesop's fables concerns a handsome stag that bragged about his majestic antlers but wanted to hide his spindly legs in shame. One day, a hunter chased him. He ran very fast with his skinny legs. But the hunter was able to catch up because his beautiful antlers got caught in the branches of a tree. Think about your "antlers". You may be proud of your fame, power, wealth, or good appearance. But they might make your heart haughty and lead you to destruction. On the other hand, your weakness could make you humble and motivate you to develop yourself. "Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, but humility goes before honor" (Proverbs 18:12).
