Some often give orders to others. Apostle Paul was an upright and high-spirited man before he accepted Jesus Christ. But after he met the Lord, he was renewed and became a person full of love and kindness. When he taught the truth to people, he didn't say, "Do this!" or "Don't!" He just guided them with the word of exhortation. Churches, parents, and superiors should follow his gentle example. Kind words of exhortation are more likely to bring about good results rather than giving words of order. "But this I say by way of concession, not of command" (1 Corinthians 7:6).
