Suppose a student is going to school without skipping any classes. He even has a private tutor. However, what if he falls into idle thoughts and daydreams all the time? He will never get a high mark on his tests. The same applies to our believing lives. A person attends every worship service and prayer meeting but his deeds, words, and thoughts are no better than those of other unbelieving people. Then he must have a problem in his believing life. If you seem to change too slowly, you need to check whether you concentrate during worship services and prayer meetings. "For it is sanctified by means of the word of God and prayer" (1 Timothy 4:5).
