When people are given something to do, different types of people accept and do it differently. Some do the tasks half-heartily. There are other who get it done, but accomplish it without forethought and force of habit. But there are people who cherish what they have been put in charge of and think about how to fulfill it better. They may seem to be no different at first, but in time the fruit of each of the groups will be very different. The same applies to God's work. The fruit of the work will be very different between those who are working with joy and thanks for the grace they have received and those who just get the work done as a force of habit (Ephesians 6:6-7).
