There are many people who help the poor, but it's hard to find someone who is willing to sacrifice even his life for others. However, Jesus not only healed people of their sicknesses and infirmities and became a friend to the poor and the neglected, but He also gave his life for sinners. He gave His life to open the way of salvation for all human beings even though He had no sin at all (Matthew 11:5). We must not only accept Jesus as our Savior and go the way of salvation by knowing this love, but we must love our neighbors.
