It is said that there are good points that even a three-year old child may have that we can learn from. This implies not only that there are things we can learn from others but also that we need to be able to learn from them. Even if it is true that in nine cases out of ten we know things better than someone else, if they have that one good point, then we must be able to learn from it. We must have a heart of humility. As we humble ourselves before God the Almighty we come to trust in Him by acknowledging the limits to our knowledge and wisdom. If we humbly ask God for what is beyond our abilities, the answers transcending our own limits will be brought down (Proverbs 29:23).
