Is there any parent who would sacrifice his son's life for their own wealth, fame, and earthly glory? Moreover, if someone were to ask them to give their son's life in return for saving the lives of prisoners on death row, they might have said, "I will never do so even if I die myself!" But God sacrificed His only begotten Son to redeem mankind from their sins. It is the reason why myriads of Christians praise like this, "Could we with ink the ocean fill, and were the skies of parchment made, were every stalk on earth a quill, and every man a scribe by trade, to write the love of God above, would drain the ocean dry. Nor could the scroll contain the whole, though stretched from sky to sky." (John 3:16)
