When told to give thanks in all things, some say, "How can I give thanks when there is nothing to be thankful about?" But we do not need any specific reason to give thanks. When we look up the sky on the way somewhere or when we see some unknown flowers, why don't we give thanks saying, "God made them for me!"? Or, when we can avoid a dangerous object on the street, why not say, "Thank You for letting me see it"? If you acknowledge God's presence in your life all the time this way and give thanks to Him, God will give you more reasons for thanksgiving.
