Sei-yoon Kang sent out his resume to many companies but failed to receive any responses. He grew envious as he watched his friends get hired for decent jobs. "Insurance business seemed inappropriate for me. Frankly, I am not good looking and I stammer badly when I talk. And because of my introverted personality, when I stood in front of people, everything would go dark."

There were even times when he would meet with people to close a contract but leave without saying a single word. How then could such a man possibly become such an acknowledged man in this business, today?

Kang emphasized on receiving trust from God. "There were situations where I could only make a deal if I lied and answered 'Yes' to a customer's question, but I just couldn't lie because God is watching me all the time. But even when I missed a contract because of something like that, I was happy."

"There were months when I couldn't make a single deal. But still, I gave thanks, reminding myself of this verse, "In all your ways acknowledge Him."

Emptying his pockets of his newly earned cash to sow for the kingdom of God, he asked God to help him figure out the cause of his misfortune. God then helped him discover the greed and pride in his heart that he didn't even realize was there before. When he repented and worked with a new mindset, God blessed him with many contracts at a time. But he would often find himself growing arrogant at times when things went well, saying, 'I can do this by myself.' He would then hold onto God tightly, praying in tears. Meanwhile, his faith continued to grow.

The man who first doubted and thought, 'Is this really my calling?' had learned that if you "Always trust that He is with you and do the best with what you have, The Lord will guide you toward the way of blessing that he has prepared for you."
