Jungchoon Kim (Age 71, Chinese 1st Parish)



I was a carpenter in China. While working, I fell from the 2nd floor and hurt my back badly. It began bending and I couldn't stand up. I always had to put on the waist support belt. I could only envy other people who had straight backs.
In 2003 I had a chance to go to Korea to work. Somebody shared the gospel with me. I also heard God could heal my problem. I went to Manmin Central Church and saw the believers full of love and grace. I registered with my wife. However, my back didn't get better, and I had so much pain that I couldn't work any longer so I went back to China.
In 2014, while in China, I got the news and testimonies from the church on GCN TV and Manmin News. Then I thought to myself, 'So many people all over the world are getting healed so how come I wasn't healed?' I realized that I was not leading a proper Christian life. I had the urge to live by God's word and go to the Senior Pastor Rev. Jaerock Lee to receive his prayer.
In October 2017, my granddaughter was going to Korea to study, so my wife and I came to Korea together. From September 2018, I began to rely on God completely for my healing and attended healing sessions in Manmin Prayer Center.
The sermons touched my heart like it hadn't done before. I realized I lived my past life wrong and I repented thoroughly. For many days I repented with tears and a runny nose. Sometimes the fire of the Holy Spirit touched my back.
Especially, on January 21, 2019, Mrs. Lee, the Prayer Center director, prayed with her handkerchief on me, and my back was straightened. I could feel it was going backwards. My wife also exclaimed in joy it was completely straight!
In the special healing session in the Friday all-night service on January 25, I was absolutely sure that my back was healed when receiving the handkerchief prayer of Pastor Soojin Lee. I went up to the altar to testify, and at that moment I could see the objects 10 meters away! I hadn't been able to see that well before. My sight also got even better. Hallelujah!
I am so thankful to God nowadays, so I read the Bible to know about God more whenever I have time. I give all thanks and glory to the living God!
