Okja Gong (Age 62, Japan)


In December 2004, I visited the Koreans' association in Japan for a personal matter. There Elder Jekyu Ju shared the gospel with me. He gave me some sermon cassette tapes and Philippines United Crusade DVD of Rev. Jaerock Lee. I saw so many people get healed by the prayer of Rev. Jaerock Lee in the video.
I had severe pain in my back and legs, so I watched it over and over wishing that I could be healed, too. I received Rev. Lee's prayer in the video and I was actually healed! After that I began to attend Yamagata Manmin Church. The members were full of love and they put the word of God into practice.
My husband and I are floriculturists. At first we were inexperienced and didn't know many things. But since I became a Christian, God gives us rain when necessary, and He makes everything go well. We harvest the best quality flowers and are blessed financially!
In 2018, we experienced something very amazing. From June, we grew 2,000 lilies per single vinyl greenhouse and in 3 greenhouses in 1 week terms. So, we'd harvest them in 1 week terms as well. However, without a reason they all bloomed at the same time. It was the first time anything like that happened in 26 years!
So we shipped out most of them, and there were only 100 flowers left in September. That was when the strongest typhoon in 25 years hit Japan. It caused injuries to hundreds of people and the airport was closed down. Many vinyl greenhouses were damaged, too. However, ours were completely protected and we could ship out all remaining flowers. Initially we didn't understand why the flowers bloomed all together so early, but after the typhoon we could clearly see that it was the love of God who wanted to protect our floriculture.
In December, I fell on a slippery road and sustained a rib fracture, but it was healed when I prayed with the powerful handkerchief on which the Senior Pastor prayed (Acts 19:11-12). In the past, I had many worries and concerns, but I am filled with happiness and thanksgiving ever since I began to attend church. I give all thanks to God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. I also give thanks to our Senior Pastor who guided me to receive answers and blessings from God.
