Deacon Chulgook Park (Age 37, Chinese 1st Parish)

I accepted the Lord when I was 20 and began to go to church. However, I didn't really understand the truth of God, and I was no different from an unbeliever in the world.

One day in 2015, I was watching YouTube and came across the GCN TV program 'Creation and Science.' Rev. Jaerock Lee's lecture on Genesis was inserted in that program, and also it explained in detail about the beginning of human beings, pyramids, and many other things I had been interested in.

Later, I searched for Rev. Jaerock Lee's messages on the Internet, and they were so full of grace that I listened to them every time I had a chance. I listened to the Genesis Lectures, which numbered more than 100 messages. I also listened to 'The Message of the Cross', and 'Measure of Faith.' The more messages I heard, the more I realized they were really the words of life.

I listened to Rev. Lee's sermons on the Internet for 3 years, and in December 2017, I registered as a member of Manmin along with my wife. Listening to the messages of Rev. Lee who is showing the example of a holy life, I was able to quit smoking and drinking. My wife was also changed into a better person. My family became much happier.

In February 2018, my mother-in-law didn't feel well and went to a hospital for exams. They said she had a 99% chance of having ovarian cancer. I had already witnessed so many people getting healed of incurable diseases through the prayers of the Senior Pastor, so I talked about all those healing works through the Senior Pastor and preached the gospel to my mother-in-law.

It was the Lunar New Year holidays, and Senior Pastor had meetings with the church members. My wife and I prepared for this meeting with prayers. Also, my mother-in-law repented of committing sins in the past although she was going to church for 30 years. On February 15, 2018, my family received the Senior Pastor's prayer for the whole group. On the 19th, my mother-in-law was examined again in a university hospital, and the doctor said there was no sign of ovarian cancer at all. Hallelujah!

Since she recovered her health, she has been preaching about the living God to her relatives. Her husband, my father-in-law also became a Christian. I give all thanks and glory to God the Father who has guided me to this church of life and who has let my whole family enjoy happiness. Now, I'd like to become a faithful worker for the Lord's kingdom.
