Elder Kiho Kim, age 63, Parish 23, Manmin Central Church

My wife and I received much grace from Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee's testimonial memoirs Tasting Eternal Life before Death and came to this church. The sanctuary was the very one that my wife had seen in her dream three times during her vowed prayer period.

We were assured of God's guidance and registered in Manmin in May 1991. Senior Pastor's sermons satisfied my spiritual thirst, and we started to keep the Lord's Day, give a whole tithe and obey the Word.

In 2001 I came to suffer from mental pain in the relationship with others. One night, I felt something coming up from my tiptoes to my heart. My heartbeat became irregular and fast and I had difficulty in breathing. I could not breathe.

I was reminded of Senior Pastor's prayer for the sick recorded in Automated Response System. As I received the prayer several times, my breathing returned to normal. Then, I fell asleep. In my dream, Senior Pastor appeared in a white medical gown and surgical gloves. He strongly pressed on my chest three times as if he administered CPR to me.

The next day, I went to hospital and had a check-up. The doctor said I had had cardiac arrhythmia and chances were that it would reoccur. However, I have lived healthily without any aftereffect for 17 years. Hallelujah!

As I experienced it, my heart was renewed and I came to give greater thanks for the life that the Lord gave to me. With a grateful heart, I started to volunteer to give rides for the members of Ilsan local sanctuary and received a God-given duty as a district leader as well. My daughter Sister Maria Kim was also healed of serious scoliosis through Senior Pastor's prayer. My wife Senior Deaconess Hwaja Lee has been working as a district leader without having been sick. My family is full of joy and laughter.

In this world full of accidents and disasters, we've been living with no worries within the Lord. This year, I received one more great blessing. I have worked as a civil servant for Seoul Forest Office of Korea Forest Service for more than 28 years. As I finished my public duty on June 30, 2018, I received the presidential citation from Ministry of Public Administration and Security.

I give all thanks and glory to God who has taken responsibility for my whole life and supported me. I also extend my thanks to Senior Pastor who raised me with the Word of Life.
