Brother Manbae Park, age 66, Parish 19, Manmin Central Church

Every Sunday I used to go to the racetrack or meet my friends. At the same time, my wife and daughter went to church. Because I considered it so foolish to go to church every Sunday, I persecuted them, was stingy and did not even talk to them all day.

In 2010, my hands began to shake and I was told that I had Parkinson's syndrome. My body started to stiffen more and more and the symptom was worsening with time. My facial muscles stiffened, and I had difficulty in walking because my left leg dragged. I could not even put on a tie by myself. I became weak, physically and mentally. I felt so afraid and just wanted to die.

In December 2014, my wife and daughter began to attend Manmin Central Church. They looked very happy and their countenances became very bright. I was curious about the church. In May 2016, they earnestly implored me to go, so I visited Manmin Central Church.

When I went to the church and shook hands with Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee for the first time, I felt as though he said to me, "I know everything." I was touched and thought that this church is a sincere church with no lying. The following week, I registered. As I heard about the testimonies of those who were healed of their diseases through the Senior Pastor I came to long for my healing.

I started to attend Manmin Prayer Center's Divine Healing Meeting. When Center President Boknim Lee prayed for me with the handkerchief (Acts 19:11-12), I felt electrified and received the fire of the Holy Spirit. I longed to offer prayer and praise. It was an amazing experience to me, so I attended the Divine Healing Meeting in the morning and Daniel Prayer Meeting at night without missing a single day. I had never experienced such a joy in the world.

I felt happier over time and my body began to soften and relax. My body stopped shaking. My stiffened facial muscles relaxed and I came to walk well with my both legs and move my arms freely. I now can put on a tie and shave for myself.

In August 2017, I participated in Manmin Summer Retreat and I was completely healed of the minor symptom of a little bit of tremor remaining in my legs. My legs felt so light! I also became able to run and jump. Hallelujah! I feel so grateful to meet my dear Senior Pastor, to receive healing of the 8 years of Parkinson's disease and to now live the happiest life as a sheep of the flock of Manmin with my family. I give all thanks and glory to God.
