Deaconess Dakaki Hatsue, age 70, Tokyo Manmin Church, Japan


I have attended church since I was 18 years old. I used to have spiritual thirst and it became bigger and bigger. I was looking for a church that can explain the Bible clearly. In autumn 2009, I was guided to Tokyo Manmin Church by an acquaintance. I was like iron attracted by a magnet.

When I listened to Dr. Jaerock Lee's sermon during the service on GCN, I was truly amazed. All my questions were answered, and my spiritual eyes were open. On the website of the church were the valuable messages overflowing. The message in the lectures on Genesis was something I had never heard of before. With the spiritually deep messages I could feel God's love all the more. I was so amazed that I listened to one sermon dozens of times.

In April, 2010, I registered in Manmin and became the member. I had been spiritually thirsty for forty years although attending church. But now I came to understand God's heart and will and I am so happy. I have experienced God's love. I was diagnosed with hepatitis C ten years ago but after I registered in the church I was healed without knowing. In April 2015, I had a hard time even moving due to pneumonia but I was healed of it by Senior Pastor's prayer.

In early 2017, I had hallux valgus. My feet hurt even when I walked a little, but after I sprayed Muan Sweet Water and prayed with the handkerchief on which Senior Pastor had prayed, I was healed. Hallelujah!

By the grace of God, I monitor Japanese interpretation during the worship service and edit the script for the Japanese edition of a weekly video presentation 'Manmin Magazine'. As I was given this duty, I began to pray for Japanese members who listen to the Japanese interpretation every week. While working on it, I have to listen to the message repeatedly. It gives me more grace. I give all thanks and glory to God who blessed me to meet the true shepherd and satisfied my thirst with waterfall-like grace.
