June Rebecca Loh Yoon Earn (Singapore)



I came to Korea with my husband to participate in Manmin Central Church's 2012 Men's and Women's Missions' Summer Retreat. I was amazingly blessed and my eyes of Christian faith were newly opened.

I was born into a Christian family so I have attended church since I was little. But I hadn't felt the Lord's love for a long time. One day, I happened to feel the love of the Lord who said to me that He loves me and He stays with me. Afterwards, I was changed a lot and started to study hard. I entered into employment with Singapore Airlines and worked as a flight attendant for five years.

In 2007, one of my friends, Missionary Wong Ping Ping (who was a former producer in Far East Broadcasting Company) gave me Dr. Jaerock Lee's books The Message of the Cross, Heaven I, and Hell. Reading the books, I understood the providence of salvation and knew about Heaven and Hell clearly. I also received a lot of grace through the messages on the Sabbath and goodness in the magazine named Manmin.

Dr. Lee's messages have moved my heart and urged me to accomplish sanctification. I went to many churches in many countries, but I've never heard about a church that emphasizes sanctification this much. Listening to the holiness gospel, I realized what sins are and that I as a child of God should resemble Him for He is holy.

Missionary Wong Ping Ping also talked about various kinds of works of God. All of them were the works of the Holy Spirit. Just as bitter water at Marah had been changed into sweet water as recorded in Exodus 15:25, the salty sea water at Muan was changed into the sweet, drinkable water which is called Muan Sweet Water. It was amazing. She told me that those who, with faith, drink and apply the water can be healed of all their diseases and receive answers to their heart desires. It was also interesting to hear about the Muan Sweet Water Aquarium where saltwater fish and freshwater fish coexist. I wanted to experience God's works in Muan Sweet Water Site. I talked to my husband and decided to take part in the Manmin Summer Retreat.

On August 3 in 2012, I finally arrived at Manmin Central Church in Seoul, Korea. I attended Friday All-night Service beginning at 11 P.M. It was a true service to God. It was holy and magnificent. The choir anthem, performance by Nissi Orchestra, and special performances reminded me of Heaven. The church members kept smiling and looked so happy. Many other foreign believers visited the church for the Summer Retreat and the church was so considerate in serving them, which was touching.

On August 6, 2012, the Summer Retreat finally kicked off. All programs were filled with grace, emotion, and God's love. It was the hottest of the season in Korea, but it was cool at the retreat place, dragonflies came down from above and sat on my body, and I saw dancing stars.

On August 8 in 2012, I paid a visit to Muan Sweet Water Site. I was deeply touched by the fact that in God's special love I was guided to the scene of the miracle where seawater changed into sweet water just like it had happened in the Bible time.

We've gained a lot of things through this visit to Korea. I was so happy realizing I have a special right as a child of God to go to New Jerusalem as well as to receive blessings on the Earth as long as I follow His will.
