On July 31, 2012, the 5th Manmin Children's Performing Arts Competition was held in the main sanctuary of Manmin Central Church. It was one of the events in the 2012 Children's Summer Bible School. The participants showed their talents praising, playing instruments, and dancing. Their performance surprised and amazed the audience. Here are the awardees' testimonies of having met the living God.




Grand Prize Winner - "I want to deliver the love of the Lord to the whole world"

Sister Nayung Gu (Manmin Central Church, 5th grader)

I sang a Korean traditional song and received the Grand Prize in the Manmin Children's Performing Arts Competition 2012. I prayed every night before going to bed and before practice, "God, let me give glory to You by receiving the Grand Prize". I tried to use only beautiful words and practiced with a thankful heart before God. I give thanks to God who answered my prayer.

In June, 2012, there was an event named "2012 Day of Teeth Event with Multicultural Families" hosted by Seoul Dental Association. I received a 'Good Teeth Award' there. I haven't taken special care of my teeth, but my teeth are healthy due to Muan Sweet Water that was changed from salty seawater by Dr. Jaerock Lee's prayer (Exodus 15:25). I've enjoyed drinking it since I was very little. Even when I was a baby, my mom mixed powdered formula with Muan Sweet Water and fed me. I thank Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee who has prayed for me to grow up healthy.

I want to be the UN Secretary General in the future. I want to spread the Lord's Word to many people in the world and let them know about our church and Senior Pastor. To achieve my goal, I have been learning English and Japanese. I am also studying to get official certifications in computer skill, Chinese characters, and history. I will study even harder.


Golden Prize Winner - "I Have the Beautiful Hope of Giving Glory to God"

Sister Haeun Shin (Manmin Central Church, 5th grader)

I've loved to sing praises since when I was very little. I had many dreams but I always thought about how I could give glory to God. Seeing many performers in my church, I set a goal to become a singer in my church.

That's why I prepared for this competition. But I couldn't have imagined I would even pass the preliminary rounds because there were many teams that are really good. But I received the Golden Prize, so I was so happy and thankful to God.

I was born into a Christian family. My mom attended Manmin Central Church with me in her when she was pregnant. I have known that God is alive and good by seeing Dr. Lee's powerful healing works. And I also experienced God's love.

I used to have TIC disorder, but the symptom was gone after I received Dr. Lee's prayer in the Special Divine Healing Meeting held in June in 2011. Once, I had inflammation on my lips so I couldn't even drink water. My ear was torn due to my mistake once. In those times, I received his prayer and sprayed Muan Sweet Water, and I was completely healed.

Thinking of such things, I feel the love of God beyond any description. I want to deliver His love with singing.




Aurora Prize - "I feel happy when I think about the amusement park in Heaven"

Brother Jungwoon Lee (Manmin Central Church, 6th grader)

I've been learning vocal music, pansori, and acting because I was selected as a gifted student in arts in school. I took part in the Manmin Children's Performing Arts Competition with my sister, Joy. I praised and danced to the God-given song entitled "Amusement Park" and received the Aurora Prize. I was so happy imagining me together with the Lord in the amusement park in Heaven.

I was very greedy so I used to take my sister's snack from her. But, Pastor Soojin Lee told me to cast away greed in the Summer Bible School. I received a lot of grace and made up my mind to practice the Word.

I have a special testimony. In 2008, I was crossing the crosswalk with no traffic light. I had an accident at that time: my head was injured and my legs were broken. My doctor said I would be crippled if I didn't get an operation. But my parents went to Dr. Jaerock Lee and received his prayer on my X-ray film and I was healed.

I try my best to keep the grace of the Lord in my heart and mind and not to forget about it. In this competition, I felt His love more and gave thanks to Him.


Blessing Prize Winner - "I praise the Lord who healed and answered me"

Sister Nuri Ryu (Eastern Gwangju Manmin Church, 5th grader)

I like to sing praises. Since I was very little, I've seen my mom offer praise. I wanted to become like her. My mom served Eastern Gwangju Manmin Church as a singer. I prepared for this competition with longing and prayer. I took part in it as a member of the Rainbow Team with three friends who danced, and I received the Blessing Prize.

When I was younger, I suffered from atopic dermatitis. In the morning, my pajamas were stained with blood here and there. I was made fun of by friends so I wouldn't wear shorts or short sleeves even in scorching hot weather. But I was completely healed by Dr. Lee's prayer.

And I used to have scary dreams so I was afraid of going to bed. But Pastor Heesun Lee told me with love that demons are things that are not scary but dirty.

Afterwards, I changed my thought. And I came to sleep comfortably and I didn't shout any more. In the past, I shouted and tossed about when I had a scary dream. So my mom had a hard time. I want to praise the Lord of love who healed me and answered me.
