Deaconess Jin Lee (now a member of 2-1 Canaan Mission) lived in Ganghwa Island because her mother, who was a teacher, was transferred to a school there. She traveled to Anyang to take piano lessons. It took five hours to come and go between Ganghwa and Anyang. She even had to change buses four times. But she didn't find herself tired or stressed because of it. This is because she made a firm resolution to become a pianist when she was just ten.

She is now serving God as a pianist during Sunday Morning Service and as a leader of Hallelujah Praise Team's Instrument Accompaniment. She was even selected as General Manager of Performing Arts Committee in 2012. Above all, by listening to the beautiful God-given songs, she records the musical notes and arranges their scores.

I preferred sitting in front of my piano to playing with toys at young age. I started to take piano lessons at the age of five. At that time, just by listening to the songs on the TV or radio, I was able to play them on piano by ear. I even added more melody with my left hand. Later on, I could sing and play lengthy and magnificent masterpieces by Beethoven and Mozart without their musical scores.

With the guidance of my uncle, I registered as a member of Manmin Central Church in January, 1992 when I was an 11th grader. In the same year, I became a pianist for Sound of Light Chorus. I also became a pianist for Immanuel Choir in 1994 and for Hallelujah Praise Team in 1997. As a member of Hallelujah Praise Team, I could join Dr. Lee's overseas ministry.


God gave me a vision to become the best pianist and arranger

God gave fervent heart and strong vision for praise when I started to play in the church. I sometimes pictured myself giving praise to the Lord as He was coming to earth to take me. Watching the performance and praise of the orchestra, choirs, and teams, I had a yearning heart to become one who has the ability and is capable of arranging and controlling all the music in the church.

Since I had such a specific goal, I kept studying many genres of music such as piano, choir songs, band music, and string arrangements in my busy schedule. Also, I arranged special songs of Performing Arts Committee's teams, which helped improve my ability.

When the teams gave their special praises, congregations could listen to the songs and see the performance. Meanwhile, even though I put a lot of effort and time into arranging the music, writing each musical note, my work was not revealed publically. Only God knows what I did. However, I did all the works with joy and tried my best to achieve my goal.

God saw all my deeds and let me receive a contribution plague and an appreciation plague from the church. Father God had watched me help the teams and write the arranged notes without being revealed to others. This made me have greater faith and hope for Heaven.


I was blessed to arrange God-given songs

While performing my duty diligently and leading my Christian life earnestly, I was faced with family-related trials. Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee was heartbroken seeing my family. At that time, I made up my mind to change myself quickly and become his strength.

In 2009, to study another genre of music, I studied the composition of applied music in graduate school since I had studied classical piano music during undergraduate courses.

One day, Pastor Heejin Lee, who is a chairperson of Performing Arts Committee, gave me a recorded tape and asked me to make a score of the musical notes by listening to the music. She said the song was given by God. On the record tape was beautiful lyrics and melody given by God. I was moved thinking 'God Himself has given us this song!' I kept listening to the song repeatedly and made musical notes while praying.

Since then, of over 140 God-given songs in total, I have made compositions of the musical notes and arranged the lyrics for more than 130 of them. They have been played and performed in devotional services, the Easter Celebration Performance, the Church's Anniversary Celebration Performance, New Year's Celebration Performance, special songs, choir songs, and other performances. Now the four 'Manmin Collection' albums are available in the Manmin Bookstore. All of this could only have been done by the grace of God.

God-given songs are different in genre ranging from classical and Korean traditional music to applied music. With the knowledge of just a single genre, they cannot be arranged. So Father God has led me to equip myself with the knowledge and ability to work on all those genres and given me strength to perform the duty. Hallelujah!


I hope I will become an arranger who awakens all people of all nations

Tears flow down on my face with emotion whenever I play the God-given songs and transform them into musical notes. The grace and love of God overflows in my heart.

Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee of Manmin Central Church has testified that the Bible is authentic with tons of evidences. He believes in everything recorded in the Bible and manifests the power of God through signs, wonders, and powerful works. But he felt so sorry about corrupted praises sung by Christians. While he prayed with such a heart, he received amazing grace. Just as Moses made the song for Israelites not to forget about the law of God and the works of His love, God has given Manmin songs that can be sung by all Manmin members all around the world at this end time.

God-given songs comfort the members' hearts and give strength and hope for Heaven to them. They make them repent and change. I hope that they will awaken the souls in the world, even move unbelievers' hearts, and let them recognize God.

I just performed my precious duty, but God always gives me good things and answers to my prayer and blesses me. I give all thanks and glory to Father God, the Lord, and the Holy Spirit.
