For seven years
when my husband was on his sickbed,
I've never thought
it was burden for me.

One day during prayer, God moved my heart.
He said to me, "I have seen your deeds
toward your sick husband."
Tears started and continued
to flow down on my face.

The love of God, the Lord, and the shepherd
has not forgotten me
and it has made my family happy!

I give thanks to God
who has given all my family members
the hope for New Jerusalem.


'Is this a dream or is it reality?'

I often pinch myself to check if the dream-like happiness I am enjoying is real or not. This is because happiness overflows in my family since my husband was healed of pollution disease. (Pollution disease is caused by pollutants made with alcohol, cigarette, or toxic materials. The disease affects spinal nerves and causes spinal nerve disorders. It is also called chronic fatigue syndrome.)


I started earning a living due to sudden onset of disease in my husband

My husband was working for the Government Complex in Gwacheon area, Seoul, Korea. One day in July 1991 I received a call saying he had been taken to the hospital. His condition was getting increasingly serious and he ended up taking a leave of absence.

Then, I started to work for an insurance company and as a private tutor. Although I was run down after all the work, I wanted only for my husband to be revived. He showed no improvement even with a lot of treatment in hospital. I got him all kinds of home remedies that were well-known, but it was all of no use. We were both losing all hope seeing his symptoms worsen and his condition deteriorate.

I was so sorry to see my husband becoming all skin and bones. He was also suffering from severe pain that was suffocating him. I was worried about him so I called him frequently from my workplace. After I finished work, I strolled around with him on my back and said to him that I would make him healthy. But his hope for healing seemed to get faint and he appeared to prepare himself for his death. He often shed tears thinking of his wife, children, and parents.


After I piled up tearful prayer before God, my husband accepted the Lord

I was born into a Christian family. My parents always had such a good relationship that they never argued. My father was such a generous man that he prayed holding the hands of my family members before eating. Because of him, I have felt God the Father is warm and kind to me since the time that I was young.

Since my father-in-law forced me to promise not to go to church I couldn't attend the church after I married. It was more difficult to leave the Lord than to serve the family-in-law. Three years later, I could stand it no longer and began to attend church again.


As my husband's condition worsened my father-in-law also allowed for me to go to church. As a result, I could attend church more comfortably. I also prayed with tears for my husband during Morning Prayer Meeting. My children also prayed to God saying, "God, please heal my father."

In the meantime, a co-worker said that if one prays with earnest heart until his side aches, then God will answer to his prayers. After I delivered her word to my husband, he prayed to God fervently even with faint hope. Then, he experienced something really amazing. God let him repent thoroughly by showing him his sins that he had committed but had forgotten. It served as the occasion for him to accept the Lord.

After meeting Dr. Jaerock Lee, my husband was healed and our relatives were evangelized

One day, I happened to see Manmin News placed in front of my house. In the edition of Manmin News was the introduction of Dr. Jaerock Lee's book Tasting Eternal Life before Death. My husband bought the book and finished it a short while later. Right then, he went to Manmin Central Church and bought Dr. Lee's sermon tapes with the titles 'The Message of the Cross', 'The Love Chapter' and 'Beatitudes'.

Receiving a lot of grace through the Word of life, we attended 'The Fifth Two-Week Special Revival Meeting' held in May 1997. My husband repented thoroughly, received the fire of the Holy Spirit, and came to be sure that he was healed. As he had thought, he recovered and his condition returned to normal. Hallelujah!

After my husband became healthy, everything changed. My father-in-law accepted the Lord and around 90 relatives, neighbors, and friends were evangelized. My husband went back to work. Now he works for Lee & Ko Law Firm in the guidance of God and receives abundant blessings. My children have grown up well and they are preparing themselves to become workers for God's kingdom. I give all thanks and glory to God who has put happiness in my family.
