During Friday All-night Service, on April 3 in 2015, Manmin Central Church had the Easter Performance "Martyrdom" in commemoration of Easter. It was organized by the Performing Arts Committee.
The performance was planned and organized based on God-given songs, and our church members themselves sang, danced, acted, and performed with musical instruments. Beautiful background images like oil paintings and flashbacks using semi-transparent curtains made the performance more excellent, giving rise to great emotional response from the audience.
The Lord did not hesitate to take the excruciating pains of the cross with love for us. The true meaning of His love was looked back upon by Apostle Peter, Mary Magdalene, Apostle Paul, and other disciples of the Lord. Here are pictorial sketches.
Act 1_ Peter's Profession
Peter reminisced on his foolish past days: he said he would never deny Jesus, but denied 3 times with fear. And he thoroughly repented before the cross of Jesus, and finally he was crucified upside down.
Act 2_ Mary Magdalene's Profession
Mary Magdalene felt like the world had ended when blameless Jesus was hung on the cross. But He was resurrected and appeared before her. The Lord asked her to spread the gospel of His resurrection, and she diligently delivered the joyous news to people and lived her life with hope and waiting for His return.
Act 3_ Paul's Profession
Apostle Paul offered up endless thanks to the Lord who came to him although he had persecuted Him and blessed him to take the way of martyrdom for the gospel.
Act 4_ True Love(The Way of Martyrdom)
Peter, Mary Magdalene, and Paul praised the true love of the Lord who gave up everything to save us.
The disciples who witnessed the Lord's resurrection unsparingly offered up their lives and took the way of martyrdom to spread the gospel of His resurrection, and they were full of hope for meeting Him again. Their professions remind believers of the true meaning of love for the Lord.
