The 2018 Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony was held at 9 PM, Dec. 14 Friday, 2018, in front of the main sanctuary of the church. The event was broadcast live on GCN TV. It started off with the united choir singing "Hark the Herald Angels Sing!" The Christmas lights were lit up along with fireworks when the presider and the church members shouted, "Faith, hope, love, and New Jerusalem," and Pastor Soojin Lee replied, "Let's go together!"

A duet Christmas carol medley followed the lighting. Then, Pastor Soojin Lee delivered a short message. "The LORD God, the almighty Creator is our Father. God the Father loves all mankind and each of you. For this reason He gave His beloved Son Jesus to be crucified, in order to save you and to give you the glory of heaven. Therefore, let us love one another. Isn't this the message that the Lord is giving to us? I hope you will love and serve each other, so that you'll be full of happiness on this Christmas."

This year's Christmas decorations had mega-size trees, the paintings of the Lord's birth, and flower decorations, under the theme "Love of the Lord." The main sanctuary is decorated with the star that guided the 3 magi, big trees, panoramic LED lights, and luxurious flower decorations, under the theme, "Lord of love."

At 7 PM, Dec. 24th, Monday, there will be a Christmas Eve Concert and the Celebration Events, and at 11 AM on the 25th is the Christmas Service.
