At 11 A.M. on March 1, 2017, the 17th Anniversary of Muan Sweet Water of Power Thanksgiving Service and Celebration Performance were held at Muan Manmin Church located in Muan, Jeonnam Province pastored by Rev. Myeongsul Kim. Rev. Dr. Soojin Lee, Vice Chairperson of United Holiness Church of Jesus Christ delivered the message entitled "Glory to God" based on Psalm 135:3-6. Many pastors and members from the central church and branch churches attended as well as the many guests such as leaders and group directors from Muan-gun and local people also came to celebrate the anniversary.

The history of Muan Sweet Water dates back to March 2000. Muan Manmin Church was founded on an island connected to inland area through a reclamation project. The people could not get drinkable water from the wells they dug. The only water they got was salty sea water. They had to get water from a lake that was 3 km away.

Pastor Kim and the church members started to earnestly pray with the biblical record written in Exodus 15:25, saying, "Then he cried out to the LORD, and the LORD showed him a tree; and he threw it into the waters, and the waters became sweet..."

And they asked Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee to pray for their well. God accepted his prayer during his mountain prayer and changed the salty sea water into sweet drinkable water. It was named Muan Sweet Water.

During the last 17 years, a great number of people have been healed of many kinds of diseases and dying plants and animals came to life, and many hearts' desires have been fulfilled (Related testimonies on pages 3 and 4).

The Muan Sweet Water Site has become a holy land that pilgrims from all around the world continually visit. In March 2003, Muan Sweet Water Aquarium was set up in Manmin Central Church to testify to the power of God. The aquarium is a place where seawater fish and fresh water fish live together in the same water. Since the opening, it has been visited by millions of people.

In 2007 and 2010, the safety and excellence of Muan Sweet Water was confirmed by the seven kinds of tests conducted by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration of the United States). The result shows that Muan Sweet Water is abundant in minerals and contains three times more calcium than famous spring waters. In 2013, Muan Sweet Water trademark was registered in the US Patent and Trademark Office.
