During the Sunday Evening Service on January 29, 2017, the Pastors' and Church Workers' Devotional Service 2017 was held with Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee as the speaker.

The number of devotees was 9,350 which included pastors, Levite workers (the church's full time workers), elders, senior deaconesses, deacons, deaconesses, junior deaconesses, Esther's Association (pastors' wives' group), and Prayer Devotees' Association. The devotees from 43 branch churches including Masan, Daejeon, Gumi, Yeosu, Daegu, and Chuncheon joined the service.



After the devotees offered up special praises, Senior Pastor Dr. Lee delivered the message entitled "The Shepherd's Power" taken from John 14:12. He urged the devotees to extend the kingdom of God by performing with power in their own fields. And he explained how to perform with the power in three aspects. First, they should only seek benefits of God's kingdom. Second, they should live for the glory of God. And third, they should love souls.
