Manmin's 42-day prayer 'festival' was held by the Manmin Prayer Center, and it ended with an award ceremony on November 20, 2016.

This session started on October 10, the church's 34th anniversary and ended on November 20, Thanksgiving Sunday. The members prayed from 9 to 11:40 P.M. during weekdays, and until 11 P.M. on weekends. On Fridays they offered up the Friday All-night Service. The prayer meeting was broadcast on GCN (www.gcntv.org) and branch churches in and out of Korea prayed together.

The ceremony was led by Rev. Soojin Lee, President of the Pastors' Association and Pastor Dongcho Shin, Director of Theological Research Center. Manmin Prayer Center Praise Team, Serem Korean Traditional Music Team, Glory Worship Dance Team, and Deaconess Seongkyul Joo and Sister Jungeun Kim Duet gave special performances. Between the performances 100 members were chosen at random by drawings to receive gift vouchers.







Manmin Prayer Center gave tumblers to all who attended for 42 days without missing a single night, and Deaconess Soonok Baek (Parish 3) received the Grand Prize given by Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee.



At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Lee prayed for the members on the phone from his mountain prayer house. In the prayer, he extended his thanks to God for leading the members not to be stained with sins and evil at this sin-filled generation and for helping them have hope for Heaven and change through the truth. He also prayed so that they would see the following year 2017 with the eyes of faith and receive answers to their prayer.
